The Healthiest Job?!?!

I work in a profession that should be full of healthy habits. I work as a nurse. When people think of healthcare professionals they think of healthy habits. Right?!? WRONG!!! In fact health care professionals are in the top 5 professions with the highest rates of obesity. This might come as a surprise to most people. Most people believe that healthcare professionals take care of themselves. I mean these are the people telling their patients to put down the donuts and exercise. The truth is healthcare professionals are the biggest culprits for "not practicing what they preach." I go to work and try to eat healthy but it becomes difficult to follow through when there are constantly cookies, donuts, candy, pizza, and other unhealthy foods at our disposal. This is part of my trouble with the weight loss process. I haven't mastered self control. That is my goal and what I am working on. My goal for this process is to help inspire people through my journey in weight-loss. To teach people that it is possible but it requires hard work to make it happen. Everyone has a starting point. The point in life when they discover that they are unhappy with the way their life is going and they want to make a transformation. In order to begin a transformation you have to put it all out there to the world this is my beginning point.
This is my before picture! I am starting a new journey and there is no looking back. I currently am 179 lbs. My hips are 44 1/2 inches. My waist is 38 1/2 inches. My bust is 40 inches. My right and left arm are 11 1/2 inches. My right leg is 23 inches. My left leg is 22 1/2 inches. My right and left calf are 14 inches. I will be posting progress pictures throughout my transformation.
This is the truth. The first step to getting anywhere is deciding you're not willing to stay where you are. So here I am SHOUTING TO THE WORLD!  I AM NOT HAPPY WITH MY CURRENT FITNESS LEVEL. I VOW RIGHT NOW TO CHANGE THAT!! I am very excited to start this process.
